BITA is a not-for-profit organisation that has created an international network which links businesses across the British Isles and beyond. It’s all about enabling connections and collaborations between businesses of all sizes and all sectors.

The hard-working BITA team do that via local chapters across the UK, Ireland and Isle of Man, plus a Global Forum which includes the USA and Australia. Throughout the year they organise networking, educational and social events as part of a mission to work closely with businesses and business leaders to offer advice, introductions and create a platform for growth.

In Q2 2022 we were delighted to help BITA as media partners for the 3-day event in the Isle of Man which attracted visitors from the UK, Ireland and USA who discovered the best that the Island has to offer, both as a tourist destination and as an international business centre. Thanks to BITA, sponsors, and supporters (including our client Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce) it proved to be a very successful event with lots of positive media coverage.

We must say a massive thank you to the BITA team, especially Brendon Kenny (Isle of Man Chapter Chair) and Jennie Thompson (Isle of Man Chapter Board Member). It’s a pleasure and a privilege to be associated with BITA. That’s not just because they’re great people doing fantastic work, or because it’s an organisation respected internationally. It’s also a great fit for MMC as an agency that’s focused on the finance and technology sectors, and because we respect BITA’s values of integrity, passion and delivery.

BITA is an excellent network that connects business people across the British Isles. We know that from experience because since we began working with BITA we’ve already made a number of new contacts, including Paul Mirage from Business Connect Magazine who is a great supporter of BITA and provided excellent coverage of the Isle of Man event.
