AILO diversity & inclusion campaign
Supporting diversity and inclusion is important for all modern businesses – so we were delighted to help AILO (Association for International Life Offices) to push forward its D&I agenda and set an example in the cross-border life industry for other sectors to follow.
AILO – and its member companies in the EU, UK Crown Dependencies and the British Overseas Territories of Bermuda and the Cayman Islands – are all doing great work to make their workplaces more diverse and inclusive. But AILO needed specialist help to get their positive messages out to trade media – that’s why they decided to call in MMC’s experts.
AILO has a wealth of expertise on all the issues that are relevant to D&I. Tapping into that valuable resource of knowledge and expertise gave us a great starting point to generate trade media interest by creating opportunities for authoritative, thought-provoking content on topical issues.
After analysing our strong network of key media contacts we identified International Adviser as the ideal media channel to work with by focusing on three key awareness events. Thanks to excellent support from AILO – especially their Diversity and Inclusion Committee – we achieved superb coverage to coincide with Pride Month, Black History Month and International Men’s Day (click on the links to see the International Adviser coverage for AILO). We also achieved coverage across print, online and broadcast media channels in the Isle of Man which is a renowned international centre for the life sector, and home to several businesses that are AILO members.
