Promoting positive health and wellbeing is very important for us – not just in terms of helping our colleagues, but in our local community too.
Christmas is always a time for giving, and it’s even more important this year due to the rising cost of living which is affecting the health and wellbeing of many families, especially those with young children.
That’s why we’re doing our bit to help community-focused organisations that are doing great work during the festive season, and all year round. We kicked off our campaign by presenting rain jackets to under 12s players at Corinthians AFC to keep out the worst of the weather when they are training or warming up on the touchline. Next up, we supported Junior Achievement Isle of Man’s ‘Dream Big, Fly High’ appeal which is helping to fund their training facility for volunteers and students. An MMC sponsored wooden seagull sculpture is now flying proudly on JAIOM’s donation wall, and its twin (which we have named J) is now nesting in our office!
Last but certainly not least we’re supporting Isle of Play as a co-sponsor of their Christmas Grotto. Thanks to us and Paragon Recruitment, the Isle of Play team will be able to give 50% of the Grotto tickets away for free to families facing financial hardship.
