Isle of Man For Life campaign wins international award

A campaign which promotes the Isle of Man’s life insurance sector around the world has won a prestigious international award.

The Isle of Man For Life campaign – which is a Manx Insurance Association initiative supported by the Finance Isle of Man executive agency and a number of global brands operating in the Island’s life sector – won the ‘International Campaign of the Year’ category at this year’s International Investment Awards.

The award was for a brand-new phase of the campaign launched this year, which was created by MMC, the specialist international content, communications and PR agency based on the Island which focuses on the finance and technology sectors. The innovative campaign which is underpinned by a digital global strategy uses a fitness and lifestyle theme inspired by the Isle of Man life sector becoming fit for the future. Award judges praised it for ‘achieving that perfect balance of a well thought out campaign that has already been watched and viewed by huge numbers.’

Peter Kenny, Chairperson, Manx Insurance Association, said: “I’m proud to see how as an industry we can come together to promote the Isle of Man as a jurisdiction of choice for professional advisers. It’s also extremely encouraging to see that we have local companies like MMC that can manage and run a global campaign to award winning standards.”

Craig Wolstencroft, Founding Managing Director, MMC, commented: “The International Investment Awards, now in their 21st year, are respected across the finance sector and judged by an independent panel of industry experts, so winning this honour is the latest evidence of the campaign’s success. Thanks to the support from the MIA, Finance Isle of Man and the global partners from the life sector, we have built a strong platform to explore future opportunities to enhance the Isle of Man’s reputation as a centre of excellence. A special thanks to the team at MMC – without their knowledge, expertise, and commitment this would not have been possible.”
