Working with the Isle of Man Government, Ørsted is developing the Island’s first offshore wind farm, supporting net-zero targets while delivering long-term economic investment, skills training, and new job opportunities.
Project Overview
Our task was to turn a complex renewable energy project into clear, accessible messaging for communities, stakeholders, and media.
What We Did
We delivered communications, PR, and community engagement support, creating clear, accessible consultation materials and branded assets, and supporting events, sponsorships, and local outreach to explain the project and its benefits.
The Challenge
The Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm was a major, sensitive project that required clear, transparent communication with local communities, stakeholders, and the media. Ørsted needed to educate, engage, and build trust while navigating public consultation and environmental concerns.
The Results
Ørsted achieved stronger public understanding and engagement, building trust and support for the project and creating a positive foundation for its ongoing development.
